Answer: In terms of search engine optimization, you can do no better than WordPress. It is the No. 1 blogging platform for a reason, and I am a huge fan. That said, you’ll need to install the YOAST plug in or the SEO ALL IN ONE plug in for effective SEO on WordPress.
But, here’s the rub. Those are ONLY tools. They do not THINK THROUGH SEO for you, they just make it POSSIBLE. You still need a strategy of HOW to blog for SEO, how to define keywords, etc., and the Yoast plug in does NOT think that through for you. You have to do that yourself.
? In temrs of individual blog posts, YES each one needs UNIQUE and ACCURATE keywords posted in the blog post TITLE, META DESCRIPTION. The SEO strategy behind a blog is to create lots of micro search pages, and tie them all together thematically.
