Question. Thanks for getting back to me quickly. Here is today’s question. Blogging – I am not a wordy person so blogging comes hard for me.(I don’t have a lot to say) So on the average how long should a blog post be – in word count.
Answer. A good blog post, for SEO purposes, is about 3-4 paragraphs. You don’t need to write something that goes on and on and on. That might be “evergreen” or “anchor” content, but in my opinion a good SEO-friendly blog post is pretty short, but it’s not a Tweet. So 3-4 paragraphs. That said, here are some steps to writing a good SEO-friendly blog post:
Once you’ve written and posted the blog post, then it’s time to promote it.
A good blog is a MUST HAVE for SEO. So the length – about 3-4 paragraphs. And then SEO-friendly tags. And SEO-friendly, keyword heavy content. And some promotion and VOILA you are now blogging. I recommend at least FOUR blog posts per month for the average small business.
