Question. My question from yesterday didn’t get answered. In a WordPress site, how do you get the meta data description added for each page? I’ve tried several plugins but they aren’t working. What am I missing?
That is puzzling to me. I am a heavy user of WordPress, and I strongly recommend the Yoast plug-in. When correctly installed you should see at the bottom of each post, a new set of fields for the Yoast plug-in, and there you should see a meta-description option. The plug-in will either take some of your taxed or you can manually choose your meta-description.
If you are having trouble with this, something must be wrong with your WordPress installation, and I am not a WordPress expert, so I would check with a WordPress expert, and if you do not have one I can refer you to a few that I know. It sounds like some level of WordPress installation problem vis-a-vis the the Yoast plug-in.
