Q: What is evergreen content and how does it impact SEO? Would you explain, please. I`m not native speaker, sorry.
Evergreen content like an evergreen tree refers to articles, blog posts, and other longer form types of prose that have a long shelf life. Many blog posts, for example, are very short, and very spur of the moment. They are not meant to be a reference guide, that people will refer to again and again.
So, as you are watching Google and trying to understand search engine optimization, you want to look for longer form, more serious evergreen content. This content will often be titled things like top 10 lists, expository examples of such and such, or other titles that indicate the author spent a lot of time thinking through the material.
For your own blog, people often recommend that you create long form, evergreen content, because this content is a useful way to attract inbound links, and it is very useful to people.
