Q: We are working on optimizing for a site in Turkish. We noticed that most of the changes have not affected sites in Turkish. Can we know Google treats countries differently and Panda&Penguin haven’t been rolled to other languages yet?
Q: When choosing which sites to use for backlinks, would you recommend to rely on scores like trust flow, citation flow etc? What should be the criterias in choosing sites we can backlink from?
In terms of your first question, it is not clear if Google has rolled out Penguin and Panda in all languages. For smaller countries and languages, however, I think you can get away with more than you can for larger countries; it is simply easier to rank for a small country than for a larger country like English / the USA.
As for your second question, getting backlinks is all about relevancy. Try to get links from authoritative, ‘real’ websites in your keyword community, around relevant content. To the extent that you nurture a ‘real’ inbound link profile, you can really help your SEO.
