Q: If you are running more than one company is Google going to be mad that the same Google+ personal page keeps popping up on different websites?
Answer:
Great question! At a surface level, the purpose of Google+ personal profiles is to authenticate to Google that you are the creator of that content. As you build followers and build content (based on keywords), then Google can “know” that you are an “expert” in such-and-such content and then a) boost your rank on that content, b) show your recommendations to followers when they are ‘signed in’ to Google, and c) show your picture on relevant searches.
Where this is really going is authored articles such as blog posts. It is clear that they are prioritizing the use of pictures on content that reflects “written articles” vs. home pages. So having your picture show on a home page related search seems to have died off, or is being killed off by Google.
So as to the question, can ONE Google+ personal account link to MULTIPLE websites? The answer is YES. One person can certainly blog / create content for more than one website, so I see no problem, and in fact many advantages, to linking your Google+ page (at the ‘contriubutor to’ level to multiple websites. I would limit it if possible to less than seven or so. I would be bizarre if it were hundreds of websites, but certainly very normal to be more than just one.
