Q. It is wonderful reading so much knowledgeable article regarding personal Pic. on Google. Instead of Blog site or website Can we use our linked a/c or google local listing a/c to get our personal pic on google?
Answer. The short answer is no. Google currently allows only personal profiles to show up on Google searches. So as an organization you must identify a corporate spokesperson, such as your chief executive. He or she must set up a personal Google plus profile and you must correctly attach the Google plus profile to the website.
Authorship is the Google lingo for this process, and they are feeling at Google is that only persons, only real people, create content. Not corporations or organizations! So, therefore, you must identify a real person to be your spokesperson, and attach their Google plus personal profile to your web content.
Now once you do this, you can get their picture to show on Google searches and this will increase your click through rate. In addition you can create a virtuous circle: they show up more on Google searches, therefore they get more followers, therefore they show up better on Google searches, therefore they get more followers etc. etc.
