Question: We loved your webinar!! It was very informative and we will definitely be attending tomorrow. I only have one question so far and that is once you update your keywords how long does it take to show up in Google?
Answer: But no one-size-fits-all answer. Google is REPUTATIONAL. Meaning, it looks at each website one-on-one and pigeon holes them into a reputation. As we will learn in the website structure class, you can TRAIN Google to update your content frequently by using blogs, social mentions, and press releases… and then it will pick your content up VERY RAPIDLY – even hours or days.
If you have a BAD REPUTATION (I.e., no updates / trained Google that your website is static), then you have to re-train Google (again, via Press Releases, blogs, etc.) – we will discuss this in more detail in our class on website structure.
But the basic idea is that it’s REPUTATIONAL and you can TRAIN Google to perceive your website in a different way than others…
