Question: What is keyword density, and are there any SEO tools that you recommend to check on keyword density?
Answer: Keyword density is somewhat of a misleading concept in terms of tips for good search engine optimization. Here’s what I mean. First, a good density is about 3-5%. So if you are targeting a phrase like ‘dog boarding’ that means your landing page should have about 3-5% keyword density of that phrase. Second, however, it is important to write in ‘natural syntax’ – as it’s not just comma comma comma strings for the phrase, but the real SEO tools and SEO tips for keyword density are to use them in natural syntax.
