Question: What is the best length for an online press release or blogs?
Question: What is the best pr-paid service?
Answer: In terms of length, a good press release should be perhaps 750-1000 words. Medium sized, and enough to have main section: strong SEO-friendly, keyword-heavy TITLE tag / HEADLINE, pithy, keyword heavy KICKER / META DESCRIPTION, MAIN paragraph with the main idea (city, state), QUOTE paragraph, URL to promote (!!!!), Perhaps one to two paragraphs of fluff to support the ideas (again, always keyword heavy), and then the ‘about you’ paragraphs.
But, focus, focus, focus. A good press release focuses on ONE keyword family – not two, not three… and it’s tagged to be pulled by logical blogs, portals, news organizations, etc. So it is super important from an SEO perspective to focus the press release – people generate them without focus, and they don’t work.
Blogs are different. FIRST, they can be shorter. Perhaps 300-500 words is sufficient, even less. They are much more informal. Again, use all the best practices of SEO – keyword heavy TITLE, keyword heavy META DESCRIPTION, action (such as a URL to click to for something like a ‘free’ newsletter), and some supporting paragraphs with perhaps one image.
