Question: Should all the icons for social media be in the top right corner of the home page to make it easy for Google?
Question: Do you make the lists of keywords on your home page in order of significance or alphabetically? How do you correlate that to your top
Answer: Where your social media icons are is not very important. What IS important is getting a lot of social mentions of your URL’s, especially on the public parts of Twitter, Facebook, Google+.
In terms of SEO keywords, yes you define your target keywords and PRIORITIZE them, then the trick as I was trying to explain in terms of home page design… is to structure the home page to MATCH the target inbound keyword queries.
HTML 5 and WordPress go together. You can do one with the other. They are not mutually exclusive. WordPress ‘outputs’ HTML5 (or at least it can).
In terms of bullet points (<li>) – they actually probably FOCUS Google’s attentionon keywords. The trick is to write complete sentences; Google clearly looks for ‘natural syntax’ rather than comma comma comma type of keyword phrases. So use natural syntax around your target SEO keywords.
