Question: I had a quick question. I was wondering how often I should change the keywords on my site. Once a week, twice a week?
Answer: NEW content should be created as frequently as possible – hence frequent blogging, frequent news releases are VERY VERY good for SEO. But in terms of mixing and matching content around, not very frequently.
Especially your TITLE tags. Those should be pretty stable over time. If you change your TITLE tags a lot, that is actually a spammy signal. So I would say for most pages, very very infrequent changes to the TITLE tag. You can change the actual page content more frequently, and that is good. Even better is to create NEW content like NEW blog posts or NEW press releases on your site. That’s a good thing.
What you do NOT want to do is radically, dramatically, and frequently change your TITLE tags, especially your home page and your sub pages. That looks weird and creepy. So you can adjust them, perhaps once a quarter or so, but not super frequently.
