Question: What should be the KW density be for a specific KW?
Answer: About 5-7% is a good target for keyword density – but remember that it’s not just the RAW density it’s also a) whether the keywords are in the RIGHT positions, TITLE tag, H1, IMAGE AL tag, etc., and b) whether the keywords are occurring in well written NATURAL syntax.
So as I teach in our course on SEO, you want to have decent keyword density, IN the RIGHT places in terms of HTML tag structure, and in GOOD natural syntax…
