Question: Should we include brand name within Tag Title or not?
Answer: Yes, you generally should include your company name – but I recommend to put it on the FAR RIGHT. You don’t need it on every page, because generally you WILL show up for your own name. That’s pretty easy to do.
That said, if I am writing a TITLE tag and am short on characters (remember, we only get 80), I will often DELETE the company name. It’s easy to show up on, so if I have to make a trade-off I will get rid of it in favor of a more competitive word. Start to think about SEO as a game, as a contest, and it IS competitive. So you need to use more POWER for more competitive searches. Your own name / brand is an easy one.
