Question: What do you do when you are appealing to a niche that is not clearly defined? I do body mind touch based work for people w chronic pain and recovering from trauma or managing emotional stress that can be like psychotherapy for the body. I am a Feld
Answer: Wow, that’s a The answer is for SEO, you MUST MUST MUST optimize on keywords that potential clients search for. So, what do I mean? First, identify adjacent markets / problems. For instance, if your treatment helps with emotional trauma or stress then optimize on emotional stress, as people probably search for things like ’emotional trauma.’ Similarly, if your treatment helps with things like surviving abuse, then you can create content and SEO-friendly tactics for things like ‘surviving abuse’ or ‘therapy for abuse’ or ‘recovery from sexual abuse,’etc.
Ultimately, it’s all about what THEY type into Google. You have to look for adjacent keywords, ways that they search for answers / help on that problem. Then, once they land on your website, you can explain your ‘solution’ to their problem. The customer is ALWAYS right in terms of SEO; so research those types of keywords and build around them.
