Question: Regarding Videos: Let’s say I make a funny youtube video and I plug my product or service in it. How do I make that video get hits? Is there video SEO other than the title and description?
Answer: For SEO, we mean the user starts the process with a SEARCH either on Google and/or on YouTube. That means KEYWORDS must be in the VIDEO TITLE, VIDEO DESCRIPTION, and VIDEO TAGS. You also then need LOTS of views, and LOTS of likes (dislikes), VIDEO COMMENTS and VIDEO VIDEO COMMENTS. The more the social media supports the video, the more it shows on search and the more views you get (a virtuous circle starts).
Beyond that simple SEO process, the viral aspect is all about things that people spontaneously share. Humor, the YUCK factor, scandal – that sort of thing is what people tend to share. That’s why WILL IT BLEND works – it has HUMOR and people share the WILL IT BLEND videos because they are funny.
