Question: To use authorship.. you must have your name on the blog posts? if you’re doing a blog for your co.. but not with your personal name… does that minimize the effectiveness of authorship… or can the co. name/logo be the author..and still work?
Answer: Google authorship requires these functions. 1) a Google+ personal page, the points to your ‘about page’ 2) an ‘about’ page on your blog / website / company blog / company website that points back to your web page and has the rel=”me” attribute, and 3) posts to your blog / website the have rel=”author” in the code.
I explain this in my video, here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O75HXfsHzJg.
