Question: Do special characters, such as “-” or “/” make a difference in search engine?if I want to optimize for ‘hmi scada software” how many different combinations should I create?
Answer: I know that dashes ‘-‘ are generally perceived as a space. So non-profit and non profit are the SAME. As for other characters, it would depend. Always do your searches and see if the results alter. Then if so, optimize on the altered results as much as possible. Do you have a specific example? If so, email it to me, as I would like to research this one.
