Question: How much minimum search volume should keyword have, to make it worth for SEO?
Answer: That’s really going to depend. The Google Keyword tool breaks down at low search volumes, so you can’t really use it down to that nuance. That’s where your Google Analytics comes in. You want to use Google Analytics (well) to understand your inbound search keywords. But it’s a catch-22. You have to optimize your site FIRST and then get the Google Analytics data.
Be sure to use other keyword discovery techniques like related searches, Google suggest, wordpot, etc. The ‘art’ of SEO is sometimes ‘guessing’ what your clients are using to identify valuable keywords.
