Question: Do you look at the competition on Google AdWords?
Answer: No, I do not find that very helpful as a metric in AdWords / keyword tool. What I do find useful is the actual CPC (cost per click). Often, ALL the words will show up as HIGH competition so that isn’t very useful, whereas when you look at difference in actual CPC you can see the subtle changes in terms of keywords vs. value. So, no I do not really pay attention to the ‘competition’ in Google AdWords Keywords Tool.
