Question: After updating my website, how long would I expect search engines to update and show the ranking results?
Answer: That is going to depend on how you ‘train’ Google In the class, we teach how to train Google, especially through news, to index your site on a regular basis. Once you have ‘trained’ Google, new content can literaly appear in a few days if not hours. For an untrained website, it might take months.
People assume Google indexes all sites at the same rate. This is not true. Sites that update frequently, have blogs, issue syndicated news can be indexed much much more rapidly than sites that do not. It’s not a one-size-fits-all pattern. You establish a reputation with Google!
