Question: On keywords search of competitive sites I see: Hidden display none. can this be done so competition can’t copy and is it a good suggestion?
Answer: You cannot really HIDE your keywords from competitor. It’s very open. Some people do some crazy things to try to hide them, but it a) isn’t very effective, and b) Google might penalize you for doing so. So it’s not worth it. The Web / SEO is very open, so the reality is that people who ‘know’ SEO can easily infer what the target keywords are for any page, starting with the keywords in the all important TITLE tag.
So no, it’s not a good idea. Don’t stress it.
