Question: Is there a way to have a password protected site crawled and/or indexed? Can you set up a password for Google?
Answer: No, Google cannot penetrate behind a registration wall. There might be some tricks you can do, but showing Google one thing vs. what humans see is not a good SEO tactic. It can be dangerous and actually get you blacklisted.
