Question: What if Facebook were to just add circles to their network. Would that take care of not necessarily having to worry about diluting their base of participants?
Answer: Facebook DOES have circles, but they are not widely used. It’s called ‘smart lists’ and you have to really dig to find it. It’s under HOME – LISTS -MORE. You can then group people by circles. But Facebook made it very difficult to use, whereas it’s very easy in Google+. And, to my knowledge, businesses can NOT group people by lists in Facebook, whereas they can in Google+.
