Question: Is there a character max for title tag? Or recommended Number of characters? Is there sucha tihng as too long a title tag?
Answer: Yes, the TITLE tag is approximately 66 VISIBLE characters on Google, about 80 indexed characters. So write a keyword-heavy TITLE tag for each page on the website, and put your MOST IMPORTANT keywords in the power position (far left).
And yes you can have a too long TITLE tag. Anything beyond 80 characters is excessive.
