Question: What about mispelling of Keywords?
Answer: For misspellings, for most companies, just getting the basic terms correct and not missing synonyms (auto vs. car vs. automobile) is the most critical part. Misspellings are another example here, wherein the challenge is reaching out to your searches but not hurting your brand by misspelling words.
One way to do this is to literally create pages on your website in which you list the incorrect spelling, and then write text explaining that a) you do know how to spell it correctly, but you b) understand that people misspell. So you reach out to the misspellings on Google, but you also preserve your brand that you DO know how to spell correctly.
Google works on a ‘best matching’ principle – the website that ‘best matches’ a search (all thigns being equal) will win out over a site that is not as close. So if your customers frequently misspell, you need to reach out to them.
