Question: Where in your website do you locate your keywords? Should they be on the homepage?
Answer: The trick with keywords is to weave them strategically into your site. First, identify your target keywords. Then, weave them into your TITLE tag, your META description tag, and your page content. You should have a one-to-one relationship: One keyword family target for one page. Your home page is special, and has to be used as a gateway to the site.
We teach this in more detail in the classes on Page Tags and on Website structure. Take a look at geico.com as an example of a well built SEO site.
