Question: Do you address bounce rate statistics in your class?
Question: How important is domain name in SEO?
Question: I see a lot of “best XXXX” under search. Would it be helpful to have a secondary domain with specifically those words?
Question: How does Google determine what goes under the “Shopping results” section? How do you get on here?
Answer: Bounce rate is an instant entrance, instant exit. It’s not necessarily bad – but it does mean that they (at most) read that one page, and then left. Domains are helpful – if they contain target keywords, but I would not generally recommend lots of weak domain sites vs. one powerful, well structured and well linked domain.
As for ‘Google Shopping,’ that is called ‘Merchant Center’ and is a FREE service by Google. Just Google ‘Merchant Center’ and you’ll find it. It’s an XML data feed; its’ an SEO / review marketing game, as we explain in our social media marketing classes.
