Question: Do you need to resubmit a site map after changes have been made to a site?
Answer: Not really – once you ‘train’ Google to index your site frequently, it should pick up your XML site map frequently. You will need to input new content into the XML sitemap itself. That isn’t automatic, unless you install an automatic XML sitemap generator (of which there are many).
That said, if Google isn’t indexing your site you CAN resubmit your XML sitemap to be reindexed through Webmaster tools.
