Question: Can you go over the value of the keywords again? The concept of how much people pay to use/advertise with keywords? Not sure if I understand that..
Answer: CPC (Cost per click) refers to how much people are willing to PAY for a click in AdWords. So, think about it. If someone enters ‘CRM Software’ for Customer Relations Software, is that a customer? Could be… But could also be someone just seeking information. Now, if they enter ‘CRM Software for Business,’ they are GETTING WARMER, more likely to be ready to engage, even buy. Vs. if they enter ‘Free CRM Software,’ they are indicating they have no budget.
If you input these terms into the Google keywords tool, you’ll see that the more BUY keywords have HIGHER bids. The community is TELLING YOU that these are more likely to be BUYERS not TIRE KICKERS or JUST LOOKERS or LURKERS. So in terms of keywords research the tool gives you insight IN ADVANCE into which keywords are VALUABLE.
