Question: If a keyword long tail has no search results in the Google Keyword tool. Yet it shows up in Google suggest why would optimize or do ads for these long tail keywords that have no results. ? Confused.
Question: I see Google places has reviews. Are these for Local clients only. For instance if you have clients that are not local how do they give you reviews
Answer: Google’s keyword tool is limited. At small volumes, Google stops giving you information. So you have to turn to other information such as Google suggest and the Google ‘related searches’ information. That’s where the art of SEO comes in. You don’t have perfect information.
That said, as we will learn in the session on Google Analytics, once you are pulling in new traffic from Google, you will start to see the actual searches, and you can then really begin to learn what people are searching for for your local community / specific keywords. So Google Analytics will help you a lot with this.
