Question: What would be an effective density to have for your website on the SEO Centro’s Meta Tag Tool?
Answer: A good keyword density is usually somewhere between 3-7% of the words on a page. But it isn’t really a quantity game / it’s a quality game. Make sure, as I teach in our class on Page Tags, that you weave your keywords inside your priority HTML tags such as TITLE tag, etc., and also that your write “Google friendly” keyword heavy but still NATURAL prose. Take a look at the Geico.com “motorcycle” page; read this outloud. It’s a great example of Google friendly prose. MUCH MUCH heavier than most people think.
