Question: Is there any advantage in searching on Google to using quotation marks, + and – signs, parenthesis, etc.?
Answer: Yes, to you as as searcher. It refines the searches. But the average consumer does NOT do anything special. They just type and go. So for all intents and purposes, most Google searches are what are called broad match searches.
