Answer: Pitchengine wants news releases that are decent content, not just non-news stuff. So I always recommend as follows. First, be sure there is a CENTRAL IDEA to the news release. Second, write a good first paragraph that has this CENTRAL IDEA. Third, write a good quote from a senior executive. Fourth, have a link back to your webiste. Fifth, provide some more information, and sixth have a paragraph about your company.
It does need to be a serious news release – a new product, new technology – something new and exciting about your company. After all, we want real humans to read these, and real humans to care.
