Question: Is the ‘keywords’item in HTML extint for Google use?
Answer: Yes, the META KEYWORDS tag is IGNORED by Google. You can put anything you like there; does not help you, does not hurt you.
That said, people get confused and throw the KEYWORDS baby out with the bath water. KEYWORDS matter intensely to Google; weave your KEYWORDS strategically into your tags, as I teach you in our online SEO classes. (Example: TITLE tag). Just remember / understand that the META KEYWORDS tag is ignored.
