Question: I’m confused is CPC what it cost advertisers per click or the average sale per click
Question: I need a better understanding of exactly what a blog is. I know generally what they are, but how do I set one up and link it to my site. Are there any good sites that explain it more fully?
Answer: CPC is ‘cost per click – this is what each advertiser pays when someone clicks. So if the CPC is $5.00, and you click on my ad for ‘dog boarding,’ then I pay Google $5.00 for that search. There is no ‘guarantee’ from Google that you get a sale from that interaction.
Blogs really can be almost anything. Blog just means a quick, update section of a website – what is happening. They have come to be – usually – where a company posts news, opinions, thoughts about what is happening at the company or their industry. The sky is the limit. For SEO purposes, you can really use blogs to be keyword heavy.
When in doubt, consult Wikipedia – here’s an article with more than you ever want to know about blogs – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blog.
