Question: What’s the difference between a home page and a landing page?
Answer: This is a It’s confusing, as there are TWO different meanings for the term ‘landing page.’ First, Google defines a ‘landing page’ as the FIRST page that you land on FROM a Google search TO your website. So if you do a Google search for ‘Best SEO Class’ and you land on our home page (http://www.jm-seo.net/), to Google that counts as a landing page. But what if we DEFINE that target keyword search – ‘Best SEO class’ – and then create a subpage, that is laser focused on that term? That is what I consider a true landing page.
