Question: Can you have a unique Google places with one company? We are a tire store and serve 5 communites in so. Cal. Can we have 5 Google place accounts?
Question: Re: the facebook like button you have to enter a page url- wouldn’t that url always be your facebook url? Aren’t you getting people to like you on facebook? or are you saying use your website url? hope that is clear.
Answer: One company CAN have multiplate Google Places listings IF those offices have independent URL’s and independent phone numbers. So you can sign up for one account, and within it manage all of your subordinate offices.
There is what is called ‘bulk upload’ as well, but I would not recommend using that if you can avoid it. Google tends to be more suspicious of the bulk upload.
As for your second question, on the Facebook like button, you can do either / or / both. The ‘like’ button on your website means that they ‘liked’ your website / URL. The ‘like’ button on your Facebook page means that they liked your Facebook page. And on sites like nytimes.com, an individual can ‘like’ an individual page, and thereby share this with his/her friends.
