Question: This is a primary question: I have a home page and I have 15 other pages but what is a Landing Page and how do I do that?
Answer: A landing page is a page SPECIFICALLY targeting a keywords search. It is optimized on ONLY ONE keyword family. So in terms of SEO, you use landing pages to target keywords searches, and then link to them from your home page, and elsewhere. I recommend that any website identify its top 7-10 searches, and create specific landing pages for them.
After that, link FROM the home page TO the landing pages (as geico.com) does, for best results. You need inbound link juice to the landing pages.
Usually your Landing Pages will reflect your company’s primary product or service lines.
