Question: Is there an advantage to using dashes – vs the underscore in naming files or domains. For example LV-dentist.com or LV_dentist.com?
Answer: I don’t think I have ever seen underscores in domains; just hyphens. For URL’s you can use either, most people prefer dashes as they are “above” the underlining that exists naturally in a URL, and it’s easier to explain to people over the phone a ‘dash’ vs. an ‘underscore.’ Many people don’t know what an underscore even is.
