Question: We also have a facebook page for Just Bekuz. It appears at the bottom of our homepage of our website as well. When I post to the fb page (3 to 5 times weekly) will Google recognize that as a change to our homepage on our website?
Answer: Only the high level pages on Facebook are indexed by Google. Here is a link to our Facebook pages indexed by Google: http://bit.ly/hstEHN. You can replicate the same search for your own.
That said, your own pages will be much MORE powerful vs. Google than your Facebook posts, as the Facebook posts themselves are not well optimized.
So I would think of Facebook posts as for Facebook, not for Google. Posting NEW content on your home page in REAL HTML, including your Facebook posts, can indeed freshen up your site. Think of repurposing content; re-using Facebook posts, etc., and that repurposed content can help your total SEO process.
