Question: Is there a difference between a landing page as to tabs on your homepage that takes you to other pages?
There is often cross over. Something on the tab is usually quite important; so it may merit a landing page. But not everything on the tabs (think your ‘about you’ tab), might not be a landing page.
Bottom line: Google ignores the pull downs, so you MUST put your Landing Pages on your home page inside H2 / HREF combinations for best practice.
