Question: We are a plant nursery, retail garden center/gift shop and landscape company thats a lot of keywords how do I choose
Answer: Keywords should be chosen on volume (do lots of people search for them?) and value, what is the value of a keyword search to you (does this search represent my customer). So if you are a plant nursery, garden center, etc., you have to laser focus in on what searches your (potential) customer typically do… and where your value proposition meets that of the customer.
Some of the Google keyword tools that we use in the class are really helpful at this, but it is also very much a brain / marketing project. You have to think about it, strategize about it, look for those “riches are in the niches” keywords, for instance.
