Question: Is it OK to exchange different correct spellings on the same page — e.g. couneling and counselling?
Answer: Misspellings to Google are just words. So it all depends. If there are very prominent, common misspellings then they might deserve their own page. If there are a mixture, with no one keyword standing out in terms of volume, then mixing them might be OK.
Use the Google keyword tool to estimate the actual traffic for misspellings, and fish where the fish are; focus your efforts on the larger volume misspellings. Preserve your brand by explaining in your ‘landing page’ that even though you are reaching out on a misspelling, you DO know how to spell it correctly.
