Question: If you have two furniture stores, is it better to have one site for both or two sites? How to maximize SEO for both?
Answer: If they have different physical locations, you might have two sites, especially for Google Places. In general, Google Places strongly rewards stores that are in the physical town or city of the searcher. So for Google Places, a split might help.
For SEO pages, in general, I would not recommend a split, as it makes the websites more difficult to manage, and since they are all furniture related, there isn’t a big content benefit.
