Question: Is it more powerful to put keywords in html text – on the content of the page – does it have more value than having an alt tag for an image?
Answer: Text is more powerful. Using images is good for humans, and definitely use the ALT TXT attribute. But remember, Google can’t really view images. So the ALT TXT is a substitute, useful if, and only if, there is text on the page that ‘confirms’ that the images are what you say they are.
