Question: My landing page URLS are extremely long. Should I change them?
Answer: Best URLS for search engine optimization (SEO) have the target keywords embedded in them, using hyphens (rather than no spaces, or underscores) to separate the words. Beyond that you want to avoid ‘dynamic’ URLs. Any URL that has a ? (question mark) in it is a red flag to Google that it is dynamic, and dynamic URL’s are seen as non-stable.
As for the actual length of the URL’s, you should try to keep them short. They don’t have to be super short, but short is better than long. In general try to eliminate unnecessary directories, anything that adds length with useless directories or characters. And always avoid anything that smacks of a ‘dynamic’ url!
