Question: You mentioned the term “crawl” What is this?
Answer: People get rather confused on this. Here is the process. First, you have to create a page on your website. Second, Google has to ‘crawl’ or ‘spider’ that website. Third, it has to then get into the Google index. Fourth, it has to rank well for your target keyword / key phrase, and then fifth, someone has to actually click.
So a big part of SEO is knowing where you are in the process. You can have a great SEO-friendly page, but if it has NOT been crawled or spidered and therefore is NOT in Google’s database, you will NOT succeed.
In the class, we teach you tricks and techniques to get you to be crawled or indexed more frequently!
