Question: Do you have to update the keywords constantly to keep the website on top of Google?
Answer: Good question. Generally speaking, a company’s KEYWORD TARGETS for SEO do NOT change frequently. Think of a law firm that has service lines (family law, medical malpractice, etc.). These practice areas will NOT change frequently, nor will the inbound searches.
What WILL and SHOULD change frequently is website content catering to the target keywords. Blogs are a great example. Google rewards frequent blog posts, new content, etc., but that content will be repetitious vs. your target keywords, which are relatively stable.
