Question: Does meta tags have to be written with commas between them?
Answer: People do this because they do not understand. They write their TITLE tags with long strings of keywords, separated by commas. It would be better to write in a more natural type of prose.
Rather than a string of keywords, separated by commas, Google prefers a more natural syntax. That is part of the ART of SEO – weaving those keywords in strategically and more gracefully than just a list of words and commas!
